Mary Young is a certified training consultant with Hull and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in Human Relations/Resource Development, Leadership, Team Building, Diversity, and Maximizing Performance. She has been called on to present programs to both for profit and non-profit organizations such as the Orlando Chamber of Commerce, First United Methodist Church of Orlando, Junior Achievement, LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association), RDV Sportsplex (Orlando Magic), GDC Properties, Sears Siding and Windows National Management Team, Orlando Regional Healthcare System and Sprint. An engaging presenter with multi-faceted interests, Mary enjoys presenting to all age groups. She is articulate and enthusiastic, yet down-to-earth. She will share successful strategies and techniques to help you understand yourself, maximize relationships, leadership and build a winning attitude. For most of her adult life, Mary has been "presenting" in one form or another. Mary has also served as the program coordinator and head puppeteer for MicheLee Puppets, Inc., presenting educational puppet shows to over twenty thousand students each year in the Central Florida area. Mary balances her work life with her family and voluntarism. She was a high school chemistry and biology teacher. She has served as the Addition's Coordinator and PTA President. As a Junior League member, Mary presented programs to elementary students on "Stranger Danger" and to high school students on preventing teen violence. Mary is a graduate of Mississippi College with a B.S. in Education degree and has earned the designation of National Certified Professional Development Trainer.
Richard
(Rick) M. Highsmith, M.S. has
25 years of training, management and clinical experience. In addition,
he established and sold two successful companies and was a Licensed Mental
Health Counselor. This balanced perspective of education and business
experience gives Rick credibility and expertise in the areas of leadership,
management, sales, communication, customer service and other "people
skills".In addition to training and teaching groups, Rick provides one-on-one coaching. As a coach, Rick initially helps business owners, managers and employees identify and set goals. By providing tools, support and structure, Rick guides clients in focusing on and achieving those goals. Rick Highsmith earned his Masters Degree in Community Psychology with Clinical specialization from the University of Central Florida. His Bachelor of Arts was earned in Psychology. Rick is a certified trainer for Zenger Miller / AchieveGlobal Business Skills Modules and Zig Ziglar Education Systems. He has also been trained to facilitate Ken Blanchard courses as well as many programs that he has developed and customized for a variety of clients. Rick is also an Adjunct Professor at Valencia Community College. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Rick Highsmith specialized in psychological testing, therapy, staff training for residential child-care workers, teaching parenting skills classes and group therapy. After five years in private practice, Rick began a company to provide Employee Assistance Programs to the business community. He was responsible for sales, customer service and provided hundreds of hours of training to client companies. When he sold that company it was one of the largest Employee Assistance Program providers in the State of Florida. In 1991 Rick purchased a wholesale art and framing company. This business provides artwork to the largest companies in the hospitality industry. Under his leadership the company experienced a 500% growth in revenue. The experience and knowledge gained throughout Rick Highsmith's career provide a unique and practical perspective to both his training and coaching programs.
