The Basic Foundation for High Performance Teams

, , , ,

I am always amazed how many teams have never sat down and determined their goals, values and norms. Goals tell you where you are going. Values are your beliefs/ethics that won’t be violated and norms are your standards of behavior. It is also vital to learn about the personalities/behaviors and strengths of the team members. (Personally, I like to use the DISC because it is so user friendly.)

Do these four things and your team will have the foundation upon which you can not only function, but also develop and excel.
